Is it really nearing the end of October? I think we’ve almost seen the last of 80-degree Carolina days for a while, but I’m still holding out for a few more weeks of warmth. It’s been a whirlwind lately, and I can hardly believe we’re just a month away from Thanksgiving.
In the past month, I played bridesmaid at the weddings of two close friends, Lori and Ali. One of whom I’m lucky enough to call a sister.
I also celebrated my 27th birthday at Ali’s wedding. It was a wonderful birthday celebration and I got to eat the best tasting and most expensive birthday cake I’ve ever had!
I’ve been cooking up lots of great veggie foods too. Angela’s butternut squash mac ‘n cheese and Emily’s roasted tomato millet salad are both fantastic.
You should probably make them immediately.
Still haven’t broke the news to my garden that it’s not summer anymore.
Planning to tell him this weekend.
Until then, I’ll be buried alive in peppers …

It really is hard to believe that October is almost over. This year has flown by! I absolutely love that picture of you and Kevin. Please tell me that you’re going to frame it.
